Alex smiled as she flopped down on the grass. The sun was shining and it was a perfect day. Where else would she want to be? Um, nowhere. She giggled, slightly intoxicated with the suns bright sunny rays.
She propped herself up against a tree that just so happened to be convinently located behind her and would have purred if she had the right equipment for the action. There was too much to think about, and him.
Would she ever work up the courage? Nah, She figured, I'll probably be stuck doing nothing about it.
She shut her eyes, a small soft smile on her face, and listened to a song play in her head as she rested before her dutys.

{OOC: Infiltrating your post. XP}
Lynier's day could not be any worse. Somehow he had overslept and was now, officially late. He would be lucky to catch the end of his training. He was sure the punishment issued by his superiors would be far worse than the boredom he suffered through with the repetitive refreshers that he was forced to go through.
When he was younger he had expected the early morning training sessions would end when he advanced into the cut-rankings. His luck would never be that good.
He pulled his jacket on hastily as he rushed out of the building to dash across the tree-dotted yard. Once the material was on he looked up with just enough time to see feet sticking out in his path. With a light noise of surprise he attempted to leap over the object in his path only to be moments too late. The tip of his foot caught on the feet in his path and he came tumbling to the ground in a less than graceful fashion.

Alex looked up quickly and blinked. Did a higher ranking milliner just fall flat on his face because of her feet? Slowly a grin spread over her face.
She began to stand, hoping that she would not be in trouble yet again, and offered her hand to help the man up, "Hope that didn't hurt too much." she couldn't help her smart mouth.
She always got in trouble for her mouth. She could never help herself. Even the higher-ups couldn't break her of the habit. It just kind of happened, "Did you not see me or something?" She asked with a mocking tone to her voice.

Lynier pulled himself up embarrassedly and swallowed lightly before starting in a deeper tone than was natural for him. "I'm sorry, I was just trying to get my jacket on before I got to morning training." He said hurriedly. "I'm always running late for them."
He stopped talking. He sounded idiotic. He should just learn to keep quiet. His mouth got him in more trouble than his clumsiness. He began to brush his outfit off. After a moment, his mouth started up again. "You aren't hurt are you?" He asked sheepishly forgetting to deepen his voice as he had always been taught.

A light bemused smile touched her lips before she twitched her lips and straitened her face up. She would play his game, trying to be all tough like their profession.
She was amused. There was no doubt about it and listening to him blather a bit about having to get to training and being late wasn't helping. Her eyes shown with her amusement and twinkled brightly even though her face was stoic. "I'm fine," she said in answer to his question.
She was very happy about this situation. It was quite amusing, and that happened so very little in this place. She sighed softly at the depressing thought.

Lynier swallowed. The woman acted just like all the other people in the Millinary but there was something. His mouth had been silenced by the cold sounding words but now that he looked up he couldn't tear his gaze from the womans eyes.
He blinked hoping it would distract him from her but his eyes were still captured. "Um, I should.... well.. I, uh...I'm Lynier." How could he have just said that. It was horridly embarassing. A deep blush crawled across his cheeks for a brief moment. "I'm sorry" He blurted before panic set in and he dashed off in the general direction of his lessons.

Alex blinked, confused and confounded. Why had he said his name and then ran away like that. She raised her eyebrow and shrugged, she needed to get to training. She sighed again and then stood.
It was kind of good that he stumbled over her, in the most literal sense. She would have slept away all day and missed it. She didn't think that she'd want to have to deal with the punishment that came with missing or skipping.
She smirked as she trotted off in the direction the man ran off in. She had to go to work as well.
She giggled softly as she walked through the door to her training room and walked in.

Lynier ran into his training room and apologized profusely to those in charge of the training. They nodded and he moved across the room to his place in the line of Milliners. Some gave disapproving looks but most simply ignored him choosing to focus on their training.
He sighed before starting the all too familiar routine and falling away into his own world of daydreams. His body moved like a well oiled machine through all the flips and spins in the training, while his mind meandered in it created world. It was just like every other day.
His mind was fighting Jabberwocks and going through its normal attempts at entertainment when the familiar fantasy was invaded. Eyes peeked from behind a stone. Eyes that were connected to a face.
He pulled himself away from the hypnotic gaze and back to reality but the damage had been done. A movement was missed, a minor bend in the spine but the balance was off and the landing was wrong. His face met the ground in a most unbecoming fashion.

Alex smiled as someone flopped down infront of her, missing a step or twist somewhere in their routine. She quickly schooled her face and looked down wondering what was going on with this person. Were they perhaps new.
"Need help up?" she asked quietly.

A not so charming groan passed his lips as he lifted himself up to sitting up position. He would hear about this for a while. He sighed softly before his shaken mind noted that he was spoken to. He looked up.
Those eyes from his daydreaming were staring back at him. He pulled his vision away from them. He must have knocked his head harder than he had imagined. He swallowed and pointedly looked the other way as he pushed himself up. However his body was not going to be so compliant. His vision blurred lightly and he swayed a bit on his feet. Did he really hit that hard?
He reached out and found something relatively solid to balance himself on, though he couldn't quite focus on what it was. "No... sorry... just got distracted." He said softly. The person could not have been who he had originally thought it was. It was impossible.

Alex blinked. It was the man from before... She held her arm out as he reached for something to grasp ahold of then looked to the superiour who nodded quicky.
"Here, I'll take you to the infirmary." she said quickly as she started to gently guide him from the room.
